Here is just a sample of some of the things that the Windham Lions do to serve the Windham community:
- Adopt a Highway -- Several times a year, the Lions clean the portion of NH Route 111 from Range Road (by McDonald's), to Lowell Road.
- Halloween Party -- Each year, the Lions Club sponsors a Halloween Party for the children of Windham.
- Christmas Caroling -- Each year at Christmas time, the club "performs" Christmas carols for shut-ins.
- Lions Camp Pride -- In New Durham, NH, Camp Pride offers summer camp opportunities for the handicapped.
- Scholarships -- Three scholarships are given annually to deserving high school seniors from Windham. Some scholarships are multi year.
- Shepherd's Food Pantry -- The Lions support the local food pantry, helping to provide food for the needy.
- Recycle for Sight -- Used eyeglasses are collected throughout town and are recycled for the needy.
- Pre-school Vision Screening -- Pre-school students are screened for vision problems, at no charge to the students' families.
