Meeting was called to order

Bothroyd, Bill Brown, Steve Chalmers, Frank Provenzano, & Lee Shaw.

Lions Toast was led by Lion Lee
Secretary’s Report – Motion
by Lion Bill to accept as distributed, second by Lion Wayne, vote all in favor
Treasurer’s Report – Working
Capital $1248.07, Administrative $1096.38, Long-Term approx. $15,600, Dunn
Scholarship approx. $6,100. Lion Lee has
the checkbook from AG Edwards for the long-term account. Lion Wayne questioned whether Jennifer Dickey
was a current scholarship recipient, as she has been accepted for further post-graduate
study. Records were checked, and she is
not a current recipient. Motion to accept report, and to move $2500 from AG Edwards to the
working capital account, made by Lion Bill, second by Lion Wayne, vote all in
favor.
Lions’
Lion Lee advised that we have
received dues bills from the District ($80) and International ($302.25). Motion made by Lion Bill to authorize payment
of these bills, second by Lion Steve, vote all in favor.
52-Week Raffle – Lion Frank
reported 326 tickets sold to date.
Winners for February 21 (Freeda Ostis) and February 28 (Glenn Woodward)
were drawn.
Vision Screening – Lion Bill will
notify club as to the date, possibly April 7 (notification subsequently
received – date will be March 31 at the Windham Presbyterian Church).
Reverse Raffle – Lion Frank
passed out a draft of the proposed ticket layout, and members made various
suggestions to wording. Lion Bill moved
to increase the dinner price to $25 per person, second by Lion Wayne, vote all
in favor. Lion Rich moved to authorize
payment of $75 for rental of Searles Chapel on May 5;
second by Lion Steve, vote all in favor.
Shepherd’s Pantry – Lion
Frank turned $41 in previously collected funds to Lion Bill.
Scholarships – Lion Jean
reported that Pinkerton as one senior from
Campaign Sight First II –
Discussion tabled until next meeting.
NH Sight & Hearing
Eyeball – Lion Bill reported that 131 people were in attendance, and that
between $4,300 and $4,400 was raised.
